Carlos Rodón is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played MLB for the Chicago White Sox and San Francisco Giants. Rodón is a two-time MLB All-Star.

Carlos Rodon was born on December 10, 1992. He attended Holly Springs High School in Holly Springs, North Carolina where he played for the school's baseball team. He then attended North Carolina State University where he played college baseball for the NC State Wolfpack.

Rodón was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the first round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut on April 21, 2015, for the White Sox against the Cleveland Indians. In his debut season, he had a record of 9-6 with a 3.75 ERA in 26 starts.

In his second season with the White Sox in 2016, Rodón had a record of 9-10 with a 4.04 ERA in 28 starts. Injuries limited him to just 12 starts in 2017 and only seven starts in 2018. In 2019, he had Tommy John surgery and missed most of that season and all of the shortened 2020 season.

Rodón returned to the White Sox in 2021 and had a breakout season. On April 14, he threw a no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians. He finished the season with a record of 13-5 with a 2.37 ERA in 24 starts. He was named an All-Star for the second time in his career.

In December of 2021, Rodón signed a five-year contract worth $77 million with the New York Yankees.
